How To Fight Boss With Your Team

Going in battle alone specially when your dealing a High-level Boss against you is really pain and time/energy consuming specially if you don't equiped with good gears. One best way to face this Big Monsters is too call for help from your team :).

Here are the steps how to call them if you need a helping a hand:

1. Once in your in the battle online your facebook chat . This will activate your "Invite" button in the Boss Panel.

2. Click the "Invite" and it will show all your friends list. Select the friend you want to help you but it should be he's in your Team.

3. A link will be sent to your friend and he needs to click it to direct him in your battle field.

4. Now with your join forces you can enjoy killing your pray. You can also do the chat to make your strategy. Once the Battle end , the loot will be given to you and a compliment of "Thanks" to your partner :)

Tips On Level Up

Here are some of my tips to gain more level

1. Equip your self with exp effects ring like "Royal Ring for Beginner" and "Royal Ring of Advancement", this two ring the most important gear if you want to have easy leveling. If you can afford to have "R-Ring of Advancement" then have it as soon as possible. Always look around in the 'Auction' sometime there are desperate sellers which giving their gears at low price.

If you don't want to buy it in auction or trading , then use your diamonds. To buy this for 'Diamond' cost go to the "Armory King" most of the time its available and it will just cost you '25d'. Not bad to invest for it and start for great advantage.

2. Gear up with advance level gears as per level. Here are some recommended gears per level.

Level 1 - 10

level 11 - 15

Level 16-18

3. Keep on Defense-Mode when your leveling or fighting some Boss. You don't know who gonna attack while your leveling. And you don't have to rush for the kill remember your aiming for exp per attack not per kill.

4. Go for 'Help' to 'BackUp' this way it will give you extra bonus pts from fighting the Boss. It will give you 8pts per attack and its way better than killing mini-bosses which consumes you a lot of energy per kill. Imagine killing the Magister will gives you more than 220pts but its depends your energy and rate of survival.

5. In battling with Bosses , defense is the best offense. Remember you don't need a quick blow to fight the boss. No matter how fast you have killed your Boss, it will still give you the same exp pts. and putting yourself in defense will keep you safe in any PVP hunter.

6. Maximize your energy. gear up with Energy boost gears like 'Zombie Horse', 'Horse', and "fangthane'.

Where to Level-Up

On every level you acquired there will be a better place to level up. Its not good to stuck your self in one place where a minimal pts of exp it gives you. For every certain level theres a good place to level up.

Level 1-10

The Cemetery (lvl 1 to 5 or 9)

In your starting level the "The Cemetery" is obviously the place for you to level up. Try to kill more "GraveDigger" until you can take the "Slayer". If you have advance gear then you take the Slayer easy. If you have 'Team' asking for backup then do it so, this will give you a better exp pts. , like +2pts per attack (8pts if you have 2 RRA). Its better to 'Help" for backup than to ask because it will give you more exp pts, but only if you like to gain exp against of having loot.

Elven Passway (lvl 4 to 5 --)

Once you have enough with slayer proceed to Elven-Passway, the enemies here are not good exp giver but some good loots and golds to drop. Its still better to hang around with Slayer as much as possible. If you don't have good gear then hang around here for the meantime and acquired all the gears you'll needed. After you got bored on leveling up here is the place to waster your energy for golds and PVP fights.

Cave of the Dead (lvl 6 to 12-)

Here is not a good place to loot neither to gain exp. For a low level like you they can kill you by a critical blow even you are equipped with advanced gear. People looting around here are just for hunting for 'Cloak gear' and 'Enchanted Dagger', once after you have these gears then this place is useless.

Magma Pits (lvl 7 to 15 -- )

If you can't take the "Tarasque" then start with 'Chrono Kur' and 'Ancestor' . For 4-en its not worth to waste and it just giving you 6xp (9xp for RRA) , but if you interested of getting 'Dragon Gem' then do its so. One good thing about this place "Tarasque" is always available and you can fight him anytime you like or 'Help' for backup for greater exp bonuses.

How To Auction

Once the Tavern is available or as you get to level 3 you can now do the Auction, and to do it so you have to be in the Tavern place. Once you are in tavern you can now do two actions and its Banking and Auction.

These are the step by step to do the Auction.

1. Click the 'Auction' and it will take you to the Auction place.

2. You will listed item that are currently on Auction.

3. To 'Bid' or to 'Buy' the item you want just click 'Bid now'

4. On Bid , just put the 'saling price' , always keep on mind the surcharge and the charge of Auction. Its like (Ideal Price * 12%(surcharge) ) + 10(Auction Charge) = Total Price.

5. Put the time you want it to be posted on the List.

TIPS on Auctioning your Item.

1. To get the best sale , browse first all the items in Auction to find what is the best sale on the bid. This way you will have idea what is the item that are too low to bid or you sale for high.

2. Don't bid too high if your not sure how much the item cost, try to browse first what is the current price in the market.

3. Even the expensive item can be bid too low if you have the perfect timing . In Auction if the item has coming too common the price could be too low , but if the item too rare you can sale for as much as you can.

4. Beat the buzzer. If you want to out-bid the item , beat the buzzer before you put in your price. Atleast beat it with 5secs, its hard to get it on the right time but it could be master . Just try to click 'Auction' every sec's to refresh the list and refresh the time.

5. If you found a rare too cheap for its original price, take advantage to it. Bid for it and sale it later in the time when the demand rises.

How To Expand Your Team

Here are the tips to expand your Team faster

1. Daily Send Notification or Send Invitation to your Friends to join your Team. This is by going in the "Team" and selecting some of your friends you want to join and then Send thhe Invitations.

2. "Broadcast", this will post your invitatino in your wall so all your friends can acknowledge you add you in their Family.

3. Join the Gear Quest "GROUP". Some of the group are really helpful on expanding your Team and some are just for view without caring if you exist. Try to find the most active group and who has energetic Admins to help you. You can find some groups by looking in the FB Search Box and type-in "Gear Quest Group".

4. Create your Invitation Link or Refer Link. This way it will be easy for you to add by others and this is by clicking your link then instantly you'll be added to their Team.

5. Post your link on your Wall or on your "Info". This way ,after they have added you it will be easy for them to add you to their Team

6. In PVP , you can leave your link or message them to add you in their team.

Why Do You Need A Team

In some RPG game you can travel alone and fight all those monster all by yourself. In this game its fine to put that way but you missed a lot of things. You have probably made your life easier if you have only Team to boost you. So to make things easy for your quest, there a Team for you you can counting on.

Here are the enough Reasons why you really need a Team:

1. It give you a boost on AP

2. Gifts from them can give you rare items, and great Golds. Receiving gold from gifts is easier than questing it on monsters or doing it on Auction. Because Gold Gifts has no surcharge or any penalty.

3. Back Up Support, if your on PVP and needs help you can message them to back you up.

4. Boss Quest. If you want to kill the Boss easier you can call a help from your Team though he won't recieving any loot from the Kill but experience gained is enough.

5. Trading. though you can trade from other players which is not on your Team, but trading with your team has a little bit trust worthy .

6. Put you in a Safer place. By taking your enemy as a Team just to avoid him from keeping hunting you. The more Team you have , the more chance you won't have attackers.

How To Defend Your Self From Attackers

PVP is unevitable in this game, everyone can attack you specially when your are in low-level. Mosty people that will attack you are in 2 level pts higher than you. Because of this level gap it will be hard for you to fight back specially when they are equip with heavy gears. The first thing to do if someone attacking you is to check their gears if you have advantage and if not you better not to put the risk of fight back. If you fight back you won't able to switch place or run and this case your attacker will enjoy pulverizing you.

Here are the tips to depend yourself from those Predators.

1. After looking at the gears of your attacker and you think you can not take the risk to atack back then theres no other way but to RUN. Switch place while if you can , the safer place to be is in the The Cemetary where no higher level preying.

2. If you can't switch place, then do the Defensive Mode. If you have shield in your bag pack then equip it. Its always good to have Shield even it doesn't fit in your build. Change all your gears to High-Armor , Vital and Agi. Life-Source Ring is good to use to keep you alive from attackers , whilel dragon Shield is the best not only for armor boost but it has good effect that will your attacker will lose Stamina, by this he will lost a chance to attack you again..

3. If you are a Rogue and can't fight back, use your specialization to cast Evade. This way it will give you a big chance to evade the attack. And also equip all your Agility gears to make it more effective. If you are a Warrior cast your Resistance to boost to your armors and equip those high Armors gears.

4. Don't heal your self if your life below 15% b'coz it will give you a bigger chance to get killed from your attacker. Usually if you are 10% it will stop your opponent from attacking and this will put you in the safe place. But in any case if your Heal has 20% or higher restoration (150pts) then its better to use it to keep you alive .

5. Call for backup. Having a higher level in your Team is really the best support you can have, thats why many people put them to be on the Team and rather than to make them enemy . And thats not all, they can cast spell on you to boost your stats (specific for warrior and Rogue). If your using another character , you can also use it to support him against the attacker. Distracting him by another player will lose his focus from attacking you.

7. If your going to leave the game , always equip in Defensive Mode where it should have high vitality and defense. Equip those boosting gear with vitality and armors ,like Life-source Ring, Vitality Ring, Moon necklace, and Royalty Ring. This way if someone abuse you while your gone , he will hard time of killing you until he quit.

6. Don't message them sarcastically or give them a bad mouth. This will give them enough reason to kill you more and hunt you down everyday. Because your message will be kept in their wall and will have a reference to check you out everytime they want.

How To Earn Gold

Gold for this game is really as hard as finding a gold

in real life. Due to some of monsters doesn't leave gold in

your loot and even some of the BOSS wont drop golds. They made

this way just to limit supply of gold and to make use of their

Gold Memebers has a greater advantage. If youre not a Gold

Member you'll spending time looting and waiting for an apple to

drop in the Auction .

Here are the step where you can get better Golds.

1. Expand your team. Keep on inviting team even you exceed the

500 quota this way you can still get golds or gears from their

gift. Having a huge team will give you a lot of benefits, learn

2. In the Early Game once you got reached to level 5 , go for

the BOSS in the Cemetary and keep him fight till you reach

level-9. This way you will have good loots like "Slayers Will"

that you can sell for 50g . Save this gears or bank it and in

the future you will need to sale it.

3. In Middle Game hunt for Sly Hunter Elves , dont missed the

oppurtunity to get this elve b'coz this guy always on vacation

and so often to see. If you've seen him take the most of him.

It gives quite good loots to sell and little Gold to drops. So

far for early level he is the most generous mini-boss.

4. Play the Auction. If you know how the auction works and

specially if your a Trader class this will benefits you a lot.

The idea here is just wait for good Item that you can resale it

for higher price. The bad thing for Auction is the surcharge of

12% , this mean if you sale 100g you'll just be having 88g

after the surcharge.

5. Buy And Sale. Go to the gear page and see the messages, see

if someone saling a cheap price that you can resale eventually.

Trading is better than going to Auction cause it won't

surcharge you for 12% and you be having 100% saling price, the

only will cost that will be deducted is 10g for sending mails.

Another good to sale is the Dragon Gem which you can convert

to Dragon Hunters Necklace that you can sale to 100gd and it

depends on the demand.

6. Buy wisely. Buying is too risky , specially when it comes

with 1000 of gold unless your a Gold-Member and gold is easy

for you to earn. Before you buy something ,consider first these

things: specifications, requirements , and cost in the market.

Its better to do some research first before you bite it. And

consider first if you really need it for your level and if you

can use it in the long run.

7. Be a Bounty Hunter. On some guilds you can hire bounty

hunter for a gold price. The price is depend of the level they

will eliminate. But it will takes a lot of effort to be bounty

hunter , and actually you will need to have a great profit

before to acquire a good gears that actually too expensive.

8. Before auctioning check first the demand of the item and its

by checking the auction list. Look at first if there are

pending the same item in the proceeding 2hours. If theres no

item in the auction you can put a high bid for it doesn't have

a price competition.

Gears are meant for PVP battle, you're spending your time of leveling up and acquired best gears just to prepare yourself for the Big Fight. You don't want to be a weakling and let others take advantage on your incompentency .

1. The most obvious way to pick up a good opponents is don't pick higher level than you. Usually in Fight screen the players that are available in the list are 2pts lower and 2pts higher than you. So the idea is only pick those 2pts lower than and never mind the other levels.

2. Analys first their Gears. You should have now idea what are the capability of the gears if not you can chek their details in the GQ-wiki. The only thing you should keep on mind, don 't pick those has big armors and high vitality cause they can retaliate and kill you back.

3. Pick only those has low kills. Its too coward to do this but it will give you 80% chance of winning. By picking those noob this will give you a big advantage .

4. You can spend your gold to SPY if a player is about to die. Then it will be easy for you to take him down.

Things To Keep On Mind In A PVP Fight

Here are some Tips when you are in PVP Fight.

1. Fight with full health. If you fight with half of your health there will be a big chance you'll get killed. Don't take the risk or luck play on you.

2. If you sure you can kill your foe, use two dagger for the quick kill. Making a 1-hit kill is better with consuming all your stamina. The reason is other player migh fight you subsequently while your fighting so keep some stamina to fight back.

3. Equip your best offensive gears in Fight. Its better to use your offenisve gears in fight rather putting some shield and high armors ,the reason is your aiming for a 1 blow kill and don't let your opponent retaliate. Unless you have huge stamina to spends for killing and you can afford for the long run kill

4. Check their gear if they Vitality boost. This will give you idea how long it will takes you to kill him. From this you can decide what gears to use.

5. Have support with your team. In any worst scenario call for backup that will save you from killing. Your support will distract the attacker from killing you and by this way the attacker will lost focus on you.

6. For easy kill, take only those 2 level below on you, but ironically those 2 level higher on you will hunt the same on you.

7. You can beat those equip with high gears. GQ is not only boosting your gears but building your good stats. Even they have good gears and poor stats you'll still have a chance of beating them. Like for Rouge if you've built to pure Agi and you fight with Hybrid ,you might still have a chance of taking him, b'coz of your high Agi against his ase Agi.

8. You can a take off their Clerirc if you know their LINK. Some players will have their Cleric support to heal you and kill you. If you can't fight back with your attacker, kill his Cleric instead.

9. If your attacker too strong and supreme from his level. Then don't fight him and take him to your Team. Its better safe to have allies than to have strong enemies.

10. Don't fight while your in Boss-Quest. Always be in Full-health when your fighting and don't both jobs at the same time. Unless you have mastered doing this and has a lot of guts to do so.

11. Fight along with your team . Some teams always play together. They are going for a hunt , this will give you a big chance of kilingl if you have some other people supporting on your side.

12. You can spend your gold to SPY if a player is about to die. Then it will be easy for you to take him down.

13. Use your Cleric , this is good for healing you or healing enemy if ever they run .Though its not appropriate to do this b'coz they will put you in their hit-list and they will hired somone to hunt you down.

As you reach level-10 you be now in the eye of Hunters specially those 2pts high level than you. Most of the time level-11 to 12 will take aim on you b'coz you can easily be killed and pts for their KILLS.

As a Rogue you will be fatal for your offensive attack. Your aim is to KILL your opponent by one blow without letting him retalliating. Rogue are occasionally low in vital/defense but high in Agility. They use their Agility for critical attack and invasion. This means you don't have to spend your stat points to your Health and Defense , for energy and stamina will be depend what advantage you want. If you want to do more quest take more energy than stamina, if you want PVP take stamina against energy. But for beginners I might say take the ENERGY against stamina.

Early Start:

As you have accomplished the first TUTORIAL in the first screen , you can use the ENCHANTED DAGGER that you have acquired in the tutorial to have descent weapon. Generally there is no other better WALKTHROUGH to follow but to take the path of getting the "Destroyer Ring". You will spend your time of finding your luck to have this overpower Ring until you reached level-9. Whatever class your may in , this is the best way to follow and, it takes hard time and a little patience but its worthed.

If you are lucky to have DESTROYER RING's by doing the guide then your rogue quest will be more EASY. After you reached level-10 you'll fatal in PVP and doing quest.

AUCTION HOUSE

Once you fulfilled your quest of acquiring Destoryer Ring's , its time to visit the Auction in the Tavern. Here you'll just need to sell all your item that you won't use such as Undeads boots, leggings and other things. Keep the brace to your bank for future use and you may want to keep also the Slayers Will because its worth for gold. If you are lucky to have 3 Destroyer Ring's then keep the extra to your bank or put in the AUCTION , the price for that is 950-1500 golds. You can also higher bid if you will post your price in the Item-Page.

The best idea in your level is don't buy anything yet cause you can harvest the items you'll need in the QUEST. But if you can't wait and you have the money to buy, try to go for Enchanted Skele Dagger and Spectre Cape. You may want ot buy this items rather collecting it in the Cave of the Dead Quest, b'coz the minions there are really tough and can kill you instantly.

EXPAND YOUR TEAM

Before you proceed to another quest, try to find time on expanding your TEAM, for this will benefit you a lot. By helping you in the BOSS , receiving GIFTS and most of all trading or sharing gears.

THE ELVEN PASSWAY

After the Cemetary the next quest you'll be going is to the elven place. The minions here are not tough and you can beat them easily. The only you'll need to mind is the Boss b'coz it can fire you a critical hit and kill you instantly. As a Rogure you will benefits from this farming, cause this quest will gives you a lot of gears as for a Rogue Class. Try to aquire the Elven Helmet and Elven Shoulder Pad in the Elven Warrior this will be useful for your Agility boost and some amor points. Once you got these two items take the Elven Mage to acquire the Elven Robe and Elven Cape. If you have Spectre Cape then you won't need the Elven Cape , and obviously just for higher stats if your equiping new gears.

Using Books, Back-Pack , and Gear Inventory

If you dont know where is your gears is ,then check in the Top-Right Menu you will see an icons of a Book, Bag , and Armor. As these icons are obvious just select Books if you

want to "Cast" a spell in your self . This "Cast" is your depend of your Class-Specialization. For Bag this is where you put everything you have looted from your quest. And the last the Armor is where you put your currently equiped gears. Using the Gear inventory is just simpel in most RPG game , just click the item and it will replace your current gear . To see the information of your gear just mouseOver or click the small arrow icon at the bottom then check "info".

How To Change To Cleric Class

Cleric is awesome class if you don't want people to bother you from looting or busy from other things. If you hate fighting then this is the Class for you :).

Cleric is only available if you want to change class , after you have selected your character in the first selection.

Here are the steps to become Cleric:

1. Go to your page by clicking the "Character" in the top-menu.

2. At the right-side of the panels you will see the gift from the King, it should be on the way bottom.

3. Receive the "Change Stone" - its a purple stone that looks like a dragon egg :). This will enable you to change class instantly.

4. A fifth class will be available and you can now choose Cleric .

5. Congartulation your now a Cleric, now go for Love and now WAR.

In the real world sometimes the greatest enemy you'll have is your BOSS :). Underlings can't fight them unless you wan't to get lost for good. But the BOSS to what I'm saying here are MONSTERS that you'll need to eliminate to acquired good gears.

Every BOSS has different Stats and difficulty to face them , but the bottom line is you must be tough to take their attack and you must have massive attack to take them down. But if you are just underling yet and can't much them enough this is for you..,

Here are the steps to beat those BOSS

1. Equiped high end qears. Keeping your gear up to date to your level will give you big advantage.

2. Expand your Team. Expanding your Team will give you boost to your Stats and thats enough to support you beating this Ripper.( read more about How To Expand Your Team)

If you're planning to play this game the first you'll need is your Facebook account of course and get the Game Application . If these things are just new to you then you might want to follow these steps:

1. Create your Facebook account , simply by signing in to www.facebook.com/

2. Once you have your Facebook account you can start to invite some of your friends or

skip it for it in the meantime.

3. Get the Gear Quest game application and it can be seen in your Games Application in

the bottom-left pop-up menu.

Another way to get it is to search in the search-box in your FB and type-in Gear Quest. You will see in the frist list the Gear Quest application or for shortcut click this Gear Quest Application.

4. Get the application and allow it to run in your page.

Now you have your GQ application the next step now is to create an account.

The steps is just straight-forward and you can just take too simple. Just type you

unique account name then select in the Class Selection.

Here are short-description about the classes:

1. Warrior - [atk- def-]

this class has balance in atk and def with the Specialization like Healing you

can be tough in PVP

2. Rogue - [atk]

3. Trader

4. Titan

Now select what do you think that fits you , but for early starter its better

to choose Rogue , WHY? try it first then see.

Congratulations! you are now GearQuestor, now your voyage is about to start

now you'll need to create a party , join some guilds , battle in PVP ,invite your

Guilds to fight some Boss and don't forget collect all the gears that you want .

The game is really addicting , it will keep you hunt for gears to make your Character more effective in battle .Though its a little bit complicated for peoples who are jus starting to grasp this kind of RPG Game.Actually it's also my first time to play a game something like this that's why it takes me much time to make a guide walkthrough.

The background is more like medieval looks something like Dungeon Dragons themes. The graphics really cool its something came from old nintendo games like Magic , dragon castle and many more. Graphics quality are really good and is nothing much to be a concern .

Menu's and Interaction

The menus are pretty clear and plainly understandables though aside from the little "+" plus menu that tells there are still more option that a little hard to be seen It's hard to notice when you're just playing for the first time to but at times run a long , you'll get used to it. One reall great thing about this game is the pop-up menu in the items and in some selections. Its really nice that they put it a pop-up instead loading the whole page and this different from other FB Game application you've playing which is most of the time everytime you click something it loads the page.

Playability

As for a first timer that's not really used to this kind of game , I've gave it pretty fair judgement. For me its really enjoying and challenging . It will let you get addicted to seek more power , leveling and attain more items. The game itself its pretty simple once you have mastered the menus selection and interface but for an early gamer and first timer to play this kind of game it will take sometimes to get to used to overall interaction.

What make this game interesting is their great feature that you won't see in some other FB Adventure Games. In some games like VW and MW are pretty much focus on expanding the numbers of your Clans even you have less weapon you could still win .

Overall

As for this game is still on its BETA version there are a lot of things to improve and make this better. The game is already fine but it can be improved more. Some glitches are still there like when youre trying to acquire an item there are times you r Equiped Gears are not updating . Teams sometimes not refreshing and there is another instance I won an item but it didn't came to my Backup but when I log-out and relogin it got in. Few things actually to make this game the BEST G AME in FB.

For my overall assestment I'll give this 4/5 :)

Begginers Guide - (Level 1- 9 )

Note:

This will guide you step by step to your journey in searching gears. This guide is not in a particular classes meaning its applicable to any kind of class regarding their bonuses or specializations.

Opening Screen:

Once you have selected your class , you will be find yourself in the Map Screen. The Map Screen is where you navigate and switch places. Every screen has its own level requirement and as you level up a new screen will be availble for your quest. The first Availble screen is The Cemetary and this is for level-1 class.

The Cemetary

If you gonna look at top-menu you will a Old-Man that tells you about the TUTORIAL. I may say follow the tutorial to get a bonus gear like the enchanted dagger. Once you have completed the TUTORIAL you'll be awarded with enchanted dagger, its not pretty strong thu, but in early level its the best weapon . If you don't listen to the old guy just proceed to the "Quest" link on the Top-Menu and you'll be dropped in the same place but without the bonus gear.

Quest

For your quest nothing much to do here but to acquire more gears and to fill-up in your empty gear slots. If you have followed the TUTORIAL you might know already the used of your Books, Back-Pack and Gear Inventory.

Now you supposed to be in Level-6 or above and the next step is to try to beat the BOSS. In Graveyard there is only one BOSS and unlike other BOSS it doesn't need to respawn but the Bad News is you can only fight him until Level-9 so the idea is fight him as earl as possible. To kill this BOSS you just need to be high attack and high armor but if you don't have good gears with you can try to ask HELP for your team buy sending INVITE to them.

Using Spells, Back Pack , and Gear Inventory

If you dont know where is your gears is ,then check in the Top-Right Menu you will see an icons of a Book, BackPack , and Armor. As these icons are obvious just select Books if you

want to "Cast" a spell in your self . This "Spell" will be depend on your Class-Specialization. For Bag this is where you put everything you have looted from your quest. And the last the Armor is where you put your currently equiped gears. Using the Gear inventory is just simpel in most RPG game , just click the item and it will replace your current gear . To see the information of your gear just mouseOver or click the small arrow icon at the bottom then check "info".
